Graphite Pencil vs. Colored Pencil

My first drawing of the year(right) was drawn and shaded with graphite pencil but for my second drawing of the year we used colored pencils. I definitely like using the colored pencils better but I really enjoyed working with the graphite pencils. I was able to learn the techniques of shading and value with the graphite pencils but I personally enjoy more color. My colored pencil drawing is not finished yet, but I'm pretty proud of each of them so far. More pictures of the progress with my colored pencil drawing will be coming soon!
